Funeral & memorial photographs

Photographs to help a family remember a life.

If a funeral is approaching, start with the date and the photographs you have. We can help prepare the important portrait, create a photographic display and gather the material for something lasting afterwards.

One collection, several uses

Help for what is needed now—and what the family will keep.

You can begin with one urgent photograph and decide about the wider collection later.

Before the funeral

Choose and prepare the portrait, restore an older photograph and create a display or slideshow from the pictures available.

At the funeral

Use photographs to welcome people, prompt conversations and invite friends and family to contribute their own memories.

Afterwards

Bring photographs, cards, eulogies, letters and gathered stories together into a lasting family record.

The photograph needed now

Start with the photograph you have.

It does not need to be perfect. Send the best version you can find and tell us how it will be used and when it is needed.

  • Recent digital photographs are welcome as well as older prints.
  • Fading, marks and damage can be improved where time and image quality allow.
  • We can prepare files for a funeral director, slideshow, print, frame or display board.
  • The restored and prepared digital file remains yours to keep.
Photographs from different stages of a family life brought together

After the funeral

A life, gathered.

The funeral often brings photographs and stories into one place for the first time. We can help the family preserve them as a thoughtful, coherent book rather than return them to separate boxes and phones.

  • Photographs from throughout their life, scanned and prepared.
  • Memories collected from cards, messages and returned postcards.
  • Eulogies, poems, letters, handwriting and meaningful documents.
  • A designed proof for the family to review before production.

Practical questions

When time and photographs both matter.

Every funeral has a different timescale. Contact us early and we will help you prioritise.

How quickly can you prepare a funeral photograph?

Include the funeral date when you contact us. We will look at the photograph and confirm honestly what can be achieved in the time available before you commit to anything.

Can you work from a photograph on a phone?

Yes. Send the highest-quality version available. We can also work from prints, albums, slides and negatives where the timescale allows.

Do we need to organise all the photographs first?

No. Begin with the photograph needed most urgently. A wider board, slideshow or book can be planned from a rough group of photographs and refined with our help.

Do you produce the order of service?

Storykeepers focuses on the photographs and photographic memorial pieces. We can prepare images for your funeral director or stationer and keep the visual treatment coordinated where appropriate.

Can the memorial book be made after the funeral?

Yes. In many cases that is the best time, because cards, messages and stories gathered at the funeral can be included alongside the photographs.

A calm first step

Tell us the date and send the photograph you have.

You do not need to decide on every product now. We will help you identify what is needed first and what can wait until afterwards.
