Meet Rich & Kris

A personal service for irreplaceable photographs.

Storykeepers is run by Rich and Kris. We help families preserve old photographs, restore favourites and create meaningful archive pieces with care and clarity.

Why trust matters

Old photographs often carry more than the image itself.

We're Rich and Kris Clapp, and Storykeepers began with a box in the loft.

Kris lost both her parents over a decade ago. Years later, clearing the loft, we found a box of their photographs — her mum and dad's whole lives, from their earliest years through to her dad's 90th birthday.

Inside were more than pictures. Handwritten notes on the backs. Faces we half-recognised. Moments nobody had written the story of yet — and now, with her parents gone, some of those stories we'll never fully know.

That box is the reason Storykeepers exists. We saw how easily a family's photographs — and the names, dates and stories attached to them — can quietly slip away in a cupboard or a loft, until no one's left who remembers.

Rich spent years in professional photography, restoration and print, so turning that box into something we could keep, share and pass on felt like the natural next step. Now we do the same for other families.

It's just the two of us. Every photograph you send is handled by us personally — never outsourced, never rushed. We treat your originals like our own, because we know exactly what they're worth.

  • Professional photography, print and restoration experience.
  • A small, personal service rather than a faceless bulk process.
  • Careful handling of family photographs, albums and archive material.

Our approach

Calm, careful and practical.
